5th Annual CAAD + CALS Exhibition
Open Monday, December 4th through Friday, December 8th, the 5th Annual CAAD + CALS Exhibition showcases a variety of artwork by ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½app students focusing on themes relating to research in the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½app Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering (ABE) in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS).
What is Agricultural & Biological Engineering? Using engineering and technology for human well-being. Imagery in the artwork on display references a range of subjects such as food production, harvesting, natural resources and the environment, health, technology, robotics, satellite data and mapping.
75 original works by ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½app students were submitted to this year's 5th Annual CAAD + CALS Exhibition. From these entries, 42 were selected and are featured in the final exhibition in the Cullis Wade Depot Art Gallery.
An awards reception is planned for Thursday, December 7th at 5:00p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Deans and Department Heads from the College of Architecture, Art, and Design and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences will present their selections for awards.
The Cullis Wade Depot Art Gallery is located on the second floor of the Cullis Wade Depot, above the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½app Welcome Center, next to Barnes and Noble Bookstore. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
