PCI Foundation Studio: Concrete Disk Project
This project was a collaboration between Mississippi State University School of Architecture and Building Construction Science students and was supported by the Studio grant and . The grant was awarded to Associate Professor Alexis Gregory in the School of Architecture.
Students began this project by creating concrete disks forms, updating their concrete mix designs based on what they learned from the concrete cylinder project.
The disks were then tested on Friday, March 5, 2021, thanks to lots of hard work by Assistant Professor Silvina López Barrera, Building Services Coordinator Scott Hudspeth, and Shop Technician Charles Beckham.
