Stay tuned for the next INvision summer camp dates.
Students will be exposed to an array of cultural and social activities such as an artist lecture series, gallery exhibitions, movie night, and field trips. Full days will include fundamentals of drawing and design and computer art applications. At the end of the program students will exhibit their work at the Visual Arts Center Gallery. The exhibit will be open to the Mississippi State University community, family, and friends.
Throughout the week faculty and professionals in the visual and design fields, such as sculptors, graphic designers, illustrators, and fashion designers will engage students and discuss creative career opportunities.
Eligibility
The program provides an opportunity for talented high school age students (16 and above) and incoming freshman to experiment and learn about majors and careers in the professional art world.
Application and Costs
INvision is first-come, first-served, and space is limited. All applications should be received by us before May 14. Anyone considering applying after this date should call the Mississippi State University Department of Art to see if space is still available.
The total cost of the camp is $600. This includes a non-refundable filing fee of $100, which is paid at the time of application. Upon notice of acceptance to INvision, the remaining $500 is due by May 14.
The cost of the program includes instruction by faculty and counselors, a t-shirt, supplies that the student will receive throughout the week, and university fees for health services, equipment, facilities, and libraries.
If for some unseen reason you cancel your attendance, you will receive a 100% refund (of the $500) prior to May 14, and a 50% refund (of the $500) prior to June 1. No refund will be available after June 1.
Email me when registration opens.
